Before the band stormed the stage, an S.O.S. type of audio track played through the venue. The voice in the audio spoke about a space fleet awaiting a signal, keeping with the overall theme of the band’s most recent album: Starcruiser.

The Get Up Kids | Mercy Lounge | Nashville, TN

The Get Up Kids wound down their recent tour with a stop in Nashville, TN. With support from Ageist and Racquet Club, The Get Up Kids drew a large crowd which was impressive because Smashing Pumpkins were performing in Nashville on the same night. Mercy Lounge is certainly a small venue for an established band to play, making the show an intimate experience for everyone there as it was an up close and personal performance.
