South For Winter

Single: Twine

Release date: April 5, 2019

Nashville’s South For Winter are currently recording their debut full length album at The Tracking Room right here in Music City. While the album’s leading single “Twine” will officially be released this Friday, we’re happy to be exclusively premiering the track today!

As with South For Winter’s previous releases, their eclectic blend of folk music and blues pairs well with Dani Cichon-Stone’s gentle yet commanding vocals. ”Twine” continues South For Winter’s style of using detailed imagery to tell a story through song. However, this single sets itself apart with its building momentum and lyrics that have a looming sense of loss.

With both their self titled EP and their following release, How The Mountain, setting a solid foundation, we’re looking forward to South For Winter’s debut album which the band is working on with Grammy-nominated producer Matt Leigh. Stream “Twine” below, and stay up to date with South For Winter on Facebook and Instagram.
